Al-Bek was established in the year 2000 by two brothers, Ghulam Dastaghir Delvi and Yusuf Ali Delvi. The idea was conceived during a family get together. Their goal was to provide affordable, well-managed, quality food and services. Both the brothers had a limited knowledge of the fast food service industry but worked towards making Al-Bek restaurants among those that can provide their customers a complete range of services including casual dining, take away and catering.
The Term ‘Al-Bek’, according to the Arabic dictionary, literally means ‘The Service’. As the name suggests, the company was formed with a motive to bring in affordable dishes and quality service. So far, the company has succeeded in introducing affordable, quick and quality food in all its restaurants. The brand strives hard to improve through each and every service offering.
Beginning as a humble start-up, Al-Bek has expanded throughout West Bangalore to become a household name in tasty, affordable chicken-specialty dishes. Al-Bek has been specializing in chicken dishes and is now planning to expand its offerings in other non-vegetarian, seafood and vegetarian cuisine.
